ECD Center Officially Inaugurated in Nyarubuye, Rwamagana

Rwamagana, September 19, 2025 – The Presbyterian Church in Rwanda (EPR), through its CCDP project, in partnership with Rwamagana District and with support from Help a Child, has officially inaugurated the Nyarubuye Early Childhood Development (ECD) Center in Fumbwe Sector.

The launch coincided with the Gender Accountability Day (GAD) campaign, highlighting gender equality and the protection of children. The ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Rwamagana District, the Vice Mayor in charge of Social Affairs, the Vice Moderator of Zinga Presbytery, representatives from NCDA, Help a Child, and a delegation of eight deacons from the Netherlands who support ECD fundraising efforts.

Leaders and partners have commended the efforts of the Presbyterian Church in Rwanda (EPR) for its strong commitment to enhancing the wellbeing of communities. Their appreciation particularly highlighted EPR’s initiatives in child care and family empowerment, which continue to make a lasting impact on families and contribute to sustainable community development.
