CONSTRUCTION OF A MODERN SEVEN-STOREY COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX

Aligned with its strategic vision for sustainable development and institutional investment, Eglise Presbytérienne au Rwanda (EPR) has officially begun the construction of a modern seven-storey commercial and residential complex building in Kicukiro District, Gikondo Sector, at a site commonly known as Kanogo, in the City of Kigali.

This landmark infrastructure project reflects EPR’s long-term commitment to supporting Rwanda’s socio-economic development through strategic investments and modern urban infrastructure initiatives. Conceived as a multifunctional complex, the seven-storey building will accommodate a range of services and activities, including administrative offices, residential apartments, conference and meeting halls, commercial facilities, and other complementary amenities designed to meet both institutional and public needs.

The planned structure is expected to become a significant urban development landmark within Kigali, while also strengthening EPR’s institutional capacity and long-term investment portfolio. The project is being implemented in line with the contemporary architectural, engineering, and construction standards, with particular emphasis on quality, functionality, environmental sustainability, and user safety.

Construction activities have officially commenced, with preliminary site development and foundational works currently in progress. According to the project implementation schedule, the construction works are expected to be completed within a period of eighteen (18) months.
