    Ring the bell Campaign.

    On 14th July 2023, at GS Butamwa locates in Mageragere Sector of Nyarugenge District, celebrated the “Ring the bell Campaign”. The mobilization aimed to promote the inclusive education.

    All of the speeches and messages shared by Local Officials, Presbyterian Church in Rwanda (EPR) and National Union of Disabilities Organizations in Rwanda (NUDOR) talked about the problems and challenges that Children and persons with disabilities are facing in learning as the hindrances of Inclusive education. The theaters presented by the students have proved the reality of negative mindset towards the Persons with disabilities among some of the community members. The students asked all community members to promote the mindset change.

  • Visit of German Officers from Hamburg

    Visit of German Officers from Hamburg

    EPR was visited by German officers from Hamburg, who have for the mission of study trip on peace building and reconciliation. With the representatives of the Presbyterian Church, they visited Kigali Genocide memorial ( Gisozi) and during their stay, they will visit different places in the Church and the country. This is related to the Partnership between EPR and Churches in Germany.

    On Sunday 11th they visited Isano Parish where they worshiped.

    They visit Urumuri group of Remera Presbytery, who achieved the goal on Peace building and reconciliation

  • 29th Commemoration of the Genocide Against the Tutsi

    29th Commemoration of the Genocide Against the Tutsi

    Presbyterian Church in Rwanda (EPR) commemorated the 29th Anniversary of the Genocide against the Tutsi. The commemoration that takes places every year is an occasion to pay tribute to the more than one million innocent lives lost during the heinous extermination of Tutsis in Rwanda in 1994.

    The commemoration is done at Remera –Rukoma, Saturday  on 3rd June, 2023.

    The Executive Council of Cevaa from 18th to April 23rd

    Presbyterian Church in Rwanda hosted the Executive Council of Cevaa from 18th to April 23rd, 2023 in Bethany Hotel. The President of the EPR had the pleasure of welcoming the participants to the church and to Rwanda Country. The delegates are from 12 countries; members of Cevaa.

    The President of the EPR, in his speech, relied on peace. Where he said that “Peace be with you. To welcome the Risen One is to be at peace. Fear and closure go together, and peace and openness go together. The Lord calls us to go out to others, open our hearts, and speak of the Risen One, of this guaranteed peace. By his word, we have a declaration of peace’’

    During their stays had the opportunity to visit Bisesero Memorial Site.

    Gr Sc Mbuye :Inauguration of classrooms

    Groupe Scolaire Mbuye, in Nyanza district, is among the school of EPR Gitarama Presbytery, Mututu parish. On January 18, 2023, This school inaugurated the 6 classrooms, which were built in collaboration with the partner Rhineland-Palatinate. The group of partners came to join the school, during this ceremony and the speeches of all the participants contained the message of thanks for the good deed done.

  • Inauguration of ”Amahoro Apartment ”

    Inauguration of ”Amahoro Apartment ”

    December 4, 2022, there was inauguration of the church building ‘’Amahoro Apartment’’ located in Kicukiro District, Kigali City. In this event there was the President and Representative of the Presbyterian Church In Rwanda, the Representatives of the presbyteries, the Church members and Kerk In Actie as a partner .

    On this day it was stated  that the apartment started to provide its services even online.
