The visit of the PPLM to the EPR on 07th June 2024
JackyThe Department of Health in Presbyterian Church in Rwanda implements numerous activities including various projects such as “ ESMPA Project” which aims at Educating Youth about Reproductive Health, Responsible Sexuality and Promotion of Positive and Transformative Masculinities among the adolescents. This project is funded by ‘’Pain Pour Le Monde” (PPLM) or Bread for the World.
It is in this context that on 07th June 2024, in Bugesera District, Shyara sector, in-charge of Project from PPLM accompanied with the Vice President of EPR and Project Staff at EPR paid a visit unto the beneficiaries of this project in Nyamirama Parish.
The main purpose of this visit was to monitor the implementation of project activities such as the sensitization of youth about prevention of unwanted pregnancies through educative sessions about reproductive health and vocational training of teen single mothers in tailoring and hairdressing trades.
Besides it was a good occasion to introduce Mrs. Stephanie Arzinger who replaced Mrs. Françoise Nicole Ndoume as a new-in-charge of projects in the great lakes region, central Africa Unit and and supraregional projects.
