The Presbyterian Church in Rwanda (EPR) in Commemoration of the Genocide against the Tutsi in 1994.
· On 21st May 2022: The Commemoration the Genocide against the Tutsi in 1994 at Remera Presbytery
· On 04th June 2022: The Commemoration the Genocide against the Tutsi in 1994 at Kirinda Presbytery
In February 2022, the church organized the pastor’s ordination: 21 pastors are consecrated. Due to Covid 19, it was not allowed to celebrate this event with a big gathering at the national level as it usually used to be in the past. The ordination of this year 2022 took place in the different presbyteries:
– On 20th February 2022 at Remera Presbytery
– On 27th February 2022, at Rubengera Presbytery
– On 06th March 2022 at Kigali Presbytery
The pastor’s ordination which took place on August 11, 2019, in the Zinga presbytery of 11 people, including 5 men and 6 women, after the theological graduation accompanied by the 2-year pastoral internship in different parishes of the EPR.
