    The Church educates people about saving money

    The Church in collaboration with Hope International has helped people with savings skills. The training given to them was about the courses showing how one can improve his living condition without the big capital. Their tool is savings groups where they collect money every week, for each member to save, and they can use the credit among themselves. The last week of November 2022 was the savings week. On 28/10/2022 at Karongi presbytery, Rubengera parish, there was a presentation of certificates to 39 teenage mothers who were trained in sewing and the church gave them the sewing machine as contribution. On 31/10/2022 at the presbytery of Gitarama, in the parish of Rukamiro during this savings week, the savings group built a house for a poor mother, who has no who has no home.

    INDATWA school

    The Presbyterian Church in Rwanda has members of the Sisters’ Community of Abaja ba Kristo living in Rubengera Presbytery. As the sisters’ community is striving for the wellbeing of people, they built INDATWA school, located in Nyabitare village, Gisanze cell, Rubengera Sector, Karongi District, Western Province of Rwanda. This new school contributes a lot to the quality of education from nursery to primary, as stipulated by Rwandan government policy.

    EPR Welcomed The youth seminar – Central Africa Region

    The youth seminar – Central Africa Region was prepared by the Cevaa, took place from 03th   to 09th   july 2022 at  Kigali in Bethany Investment Group / Branch Isano.

    Vice-President and Legal Representative of the Presbyterian Church in Rwanda, as a member of the Cevaa, welcomed the participants of the seminar from different African countries: Rwanda, DRC, Center Africa, Gabo, Bene, Togo and Cameroon.

    During their stays, took lessons

    – Region, peace and non-violence

    – Evangelization with respect for others

    -Peacefully deal with theological and doctrinal differences

    – Social networks and radicalism

    At the end of the seminar the Church Leader organized the meeting of the participants and Ministry of Local Government Rwanda. The Minister recommended these young people to be promoters for the development of Africa.

    Groupe Scolaire de Remera-Rukoma

    The new dormitory for boys is integrated into ‘’Groupe Scolaire de Remera – Rukoma’’, one of the school churches in south Province, Kamonyi District. The boys usually returned outside the school because of the lack of enough buildings;   it’s successful in having this needed building.

    This school has enriched the library as a source of knowledge for school children and strengthened the culture of reading.  The laboratory is also already installed, library room, computer room etc

    Pain Pour Le Monde ( PPLM)” visited Presbyterian Church in Rwanda

    On 28th  June 2022, the Vice – President and Legal Representative of EPR, Rev. Kandema Julie welcomed Mrs. Francoise Nicole Ndoume, coming from the Pain Pour Le Monde (PPLM) in Germany, as one partner of the Presbyterian Church in Rwanda. 

    With the staff team of the health department, they visited the activities of the said department financed by PLLM, in  Remera Presbytery including young people who take training in sewing, hairdressing and students of Remera – Rukoma Secondary School  trained in reproductive Health.
